In a previous post, we explained how following a strategy that incorporates different types of videos is the best way to succeed in today's competitive Real Estate market. On this short video, XXX XXX a professional videographer and WeVideo user, gives us a quick starter guide to making Real Estate Videos.

XXX's Seven Tips to Make an Attractive Real Estate Video.
1) Use Movement. Every Real Estate Site has Videos, but what sets video apart from photos is movement. Movement brings properties to life and allows buyers to easily imagine themselves within the property. Movement is often achieved using special equipment like cranes and jibs, but you can still achieve great video by following these next tips :
2) Keep your shot steady by using a tripod. Invest in a tripod with a fluid head that will allow you to move your camera steadily, if you are using your phone, use an adaptor to attach it to your tripod.

3) Learn to Pan & Tilt- and do it smoothly. There are two basic movement shots that you can achieve with a tripod: A pan, which is a sweeping horizontal shot from left to right or vice-versa. A Tilt is a sweeping vertical shot. Tilts help show size and beautiful exteriors, while tilts help demonstrate space and perspective on outside shots. Whenever tilting or panning, move the camera steadily and slowly, pausing for a few seconds as you reach the end of your shot.
4) Import your shots into WeVideo. Upload your videos and select your best shots, then organize them. Start off with a few exterior shots, then show the largest rooms in the property, like the kitchen and living room, moving on to the bedrooms, bathrooms. End your video with shots of backyard, or go back to show the exterior. Remember to keep your shots to 5 seconds long per shot- and keep a good pace. If you can, find interesting angles. Once you are done with your sequence of shots.
5) Add Music and captions. Music adds an extra layer to the video and can help bring emotion to the visuals. WeVideo comes with many licensed songs, choose the one that best fits with your video. You can also record a narration, and add captions to your video to highlight additional details of the property as well as your contact information.
6) Keep it short. Your final video should be no longer than three minutes. Shorter is more. Keep in mind that the purpose of your video is to get potential buyers to contact you.
7) Use WeVideo to post your video to your website, or to publish it to Social Media. WeVideo's publishing features lets you share your video anywhere on line, so take advantage of this feature, and share your creation with the world.
We hope you find these tips helpful, and keep XXX's advice in mind when he says "Remember, keep the camera steady, capture with movement, edit with WeVideo, and sell that property."
