Callback — WeVideo POSTs the selection to this server
postMessage — WeVideo posts the selection to this page
How a teacher's content selection comes back. postMessage needs no callback endpoint and links in a single click — no learner experience or due date step — giving you a content type and ID instead of a target link.
Learner session auth
Cookie — a regular WeVideo session in this browser
Session key — a session scoped to the launched tab
Only applied to learner launches. A session key keeps the launch from signing the learner in to the rest of WeVideo, and lets you launch a learner and a teacher into two tabs at once. Flows that need a cookie session, such as opening the results report in a new window, are hidden.

Heads-up: launching WeVideo below signs this browser in as the demo user — use a private window if you're logged in to WeVideo.
