Kevin Knight is our Chief Executive Officer and brings over 25 years of software experience to WeVideo. He has broad leadership experience having led many different aspects of technology companies during his career. Kevin spent over 18 years with Blackbaud, a global company focused on the nonprofit sector, where he oversaw Professional Services, Customer Success, and was the General Manager of two different business units during his tenure. He then joined Anthology, a global edtech company focused on higher education, as the Chief Operating Officer, where he led a team of over 1800 associates. Kevin has a passion for delighting customers by focusing on delivering the highest quality products and services. He has a bachelor's degree from Erskine College.

Annie Davis is WeVideo's Chief Product Officer, leading both Product Management and Marketing. In this role, her focus is to continue to build products that delight users and improve learning outcomes while shaping innovative marketing strategies to drive growth. Having built her career in SaaS companies, Annie brings a strong background in sales, marketing, and product management, and a proven track record of success in her previous roles. She spent most of her career at Blackbaud (BLKB) where she was able to grow organic revenue in her business over 22%, transforming a once declining product suite into the fastest growing in the company. Annie has a passion for leading collaborative, cross-functional teams to provide best-in-class solutions for customers. She has her bachelor's degree from Clemson University and is an avid Tigers fan.

As the Chief Strategy Officer at WeVideo, Rob Sparks brings over 25 years of experience in driving growth through strategic corporate development, M&A, and innovative partnerships. Known for a visionary approach to business transformation, Rob plays a pivotal role in shaping WeVideo’s long-term strategic direction, ensuring the company’s continued leadership in video creation and collaboration technology.

Prior to joining WeVideo, Rob served in various executive roles, where he successfully led initiatives that resulted in significant market expansion, enhanced competitive positioning, and sustainable growth. His expertise in navigating complex business environments and fostering strategic alliances has made him a key architect in building and scaling innovative businesses.

Rob holds a Bachelor (Honors) in Psychology from Carleton University, and is an avid cyclist who believes in the importance of fitness for maintaining peak performance in both professional and personal life.

Ashton Robbins brings more than 13 years of educational technology experience to WeVideo. In her role as Vice President of Global Sales, Ashton is responsible for growing and developing new business at WeVideo. Always a customer advocate, she aims to solve meaningful business problems for customers and potential partners through WeVideo's product offerings. Ashton spent over 13 years with Blackbaud, a global company focused on the nonprofit and K-12 sector, where she led a business unit centered around K-12 schools. Ashton is passionate about delivering outcomes for customers aligned to their mission and is a huge believer in technology to help automate, improve efficiencies, and drive growth. She has a bachelor's degree from College of Charleston.

David Lahey is our champion for the customer experience responsible for sales, customer success, and support teams. As an accomplished executive in business software, he has decades of experience in building and scaling global teams. David built his own ERP software company and sold it to Computer Associates (NYSE:CA). He ran global professional services until the company was acquired by Sage (London:SGE), then helped integrate the two businesses, and ultimately became VP, Sales. David’s first Silicon Valley gig was with Jobvite, where he grew Customer Success from a team of 4 to 65. The CEO then selected him to become the VP/GM of its international business and Jobvite was ultimately acquired by Private Equity during 2018. His teams have won a total of 6 Stevie Awards, with some of them being three years in a row. David holds a degree in Economics from UCLA.

As WeVideo’s VP of Engineering, Lucian Cioroga provides invaluable insight and direction based on his experience as a front-end developer and software engineer. Lucian began his career in 2003 as a freelance developer before moving on to Alcatel-Lucent as Front-End Developer. In 2009, he joined EXSWAP where he led the Inspera team and development efforts for several products including the Creaza suite, both of which were building blocks for what would become WeVideo. Later, Lucian worked as a front-end developer for UDIR (Norway’s Ministry of Education) and continued his work with Creaza. In 2014, he officially joined WeVideo in a full-time capacity as the lead of the Android team. During his time as the Android team lead, the app garnered high acclaim in the Google Play Store and was short-listed for awards such as New & Noteworthy, Editor’s Choice, and Android Excellence. Lucian graduated from the Technical University of Timisoara, one of Romania’s top technical universities, with a Bachelor of Computer Science.

Cassie Solaguren brings more than 10 years of experience in the HR field to WeVideo. As the Director of Global Human Resources, Cassie leads the HR team in providing people-centric strategy to enhance the employee experience. She is passionate about the intersection of people and business, as it is her role to be an advocate for both. She is responsible for all aspects of the company's global people functions to include retention, onboarding, culture, compensation, change management, and process effectiveness. She has experience in the software industry, building a human resources department from scratch. Cassie has a bachelor's degree in Labor Studies & Employment Relations from Penn State University and is a loyal Nittany Lions fan.

Russ Gilbert is WeVideo's Chief Financial Officer, bringing nearly 25 years of finance experience across several companies in the technology sector. Russ spent just over nine years at Blackbaud, a global SaaS company focused on the nonprofit sector, where he led finance teams that supported several functions including Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, and the company's broad K-12 and higher education portfolios. Before joining Blackbaud, Russ began his career with Electronic Data Systems and Hewlett Packard in several senior finance and financial management positions. Russ has a passion for leveraging data and analysis to promote profitable growth. He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Penn State University and an MBA from George Washington University.
