One of WeVideo's cool features is being able to place a blurred duplicate background behind a video or image that doesn’t fill the entire frame.
Say for example you’re putting together a horizontal video, but you have a few vertical images or video clips that you’d like to include. This means the vertical images and clips will have a large black margin on both sides by default. You can adjust this by double-clicking the image or video to open the editor menu. At the bottom of the transform tab, you can select Blurred background. This will place a blurred duplicate on either side, replacing those black margins. This makes it less of a visual distraction when you go from a full-screen horizontal display to a vertical display.
